How do you raise awareness of a boiler during the loudest
time of the year?
Unlike other modern technologies that demand our attention, Vaillant’s smart heating technology acts as a silent partner, delivering constant, reliable comfort.
To capture this, we created a campaign where every element, from props to camera movement — was informed by social listening and scientific research to evoke comfort. By providing a 60-second window of calm, Vaillant became an antidote to the endless stream of loud, attention-seeking Christmas ads.
While the TV ad delivered shared comfort at scale, digital allowed for bespoke comfort. By using targeting tactics, we delivered personalised content so individuals could find their own comfort zone. The campaign led to a 22% increase in sales in Q1, making it Vaillant’s strongest quarter in six years, and its success saw the work roll out across EMEA.
